How has 2016 been treating you guys? I am thinking I should make a bucket list. Like monthly bucket list. That would be a good idea right? Tell me what you guys think about it. But nevermind, I am someone who puts on songs to get ready for college. Hopefully, that doesn't piss my roommate off.

Anyway, This month's gonna have a lot of One Direction songs. Sorry for that. If I could, The whole album would be here but I haven't listened to the other songs properly, mainly because I can't get enough of the one's on my list. But, They'll be here too soon. Trust me. I love their new album. I miss Zayn, but, this album is love. Lovely. Beautifully. Crazy beautiful. It's like they've entered another stage, you know like from boys singing hip songs to Manly touchy songs. I hope they come back and keep growing up with us. You know what I mean right? It's so nice when you think of it like we're all growing up together, the EXACT songs that we wanna listen to at this age, THEIR AGE. I'm probably confusing you. Nevermind.

5 ways to relax yourslef (anti-Netflix and chill tips!) :

Well, I said anti-Netflix because well, non of the ways below makes you lay down on your bed under blankets and sit and watch people have a very photogenic life while your (my!) life is just bland. So, 2016 is the year to step up your game and I mean it. STOP! envying at other people's life and blame your life for not being like theirs because trust me, it is. Get up. Go out. Live.What I've realized is, you cannot say "If I lived where they do, I'd have an amazing life too" if you are not willing to even take a new step forward. Break from your routine. There are so many things in the world that you'll never be able to try so, start now. I've never really known what I like and it's embarrassing. So, maybe this year, I'll really listen o myself and find out the things that I really like and things that may not be on my favourites list. 

Anyway, coming to the point, I always found it more relaxing when I am all by myself. And here are 6 things that help you shake off the tension and yes #4 is weird.

1. Go for  a walk : Just put on some comfy warm clothes and walk. It doesn't have to be brisk if you don't like it. Just walk. Put on some music if you like and drown yourself in the city's noise or the calm and get lost in the crowd and go where your heart takes you.Maybe look around a neighbourhood you've never visited or a mall. It's always good to walk when you are in your explorer mode because, you don't have to worry about parking or the traffic.
2. Take yourself for a date: It doesn't need to be fancy. Go to a cozy cafe. Order some hot chocolate and enjoy and let the time pass by. You can try writing the feeling down or make crazy sketched of people or just making an entry on your journal and make lists of random things. Eg: perfumes, places you wanna visit, favorite quotes, etc. Don't forget to write down why. The reasons can be one word or a phrase, just the idea that you like. It's make you feel  like you got heavy weights off your shoulder and later you can look back at these things and trust me, it feels reallyyy good. It's like a record of a person you once were.
3.     If you feel like baking  cookies, sitting by a bonfires,having some ice cream, the smell of your favourite candles etc, go do it but don't forget to take in the warm happy feeling it gives you .
4. Put on some music and sway (Don't forget the make up and mirror) : I do this all the time, put on some nice music that you'll love "SWAYING" to. Put on your favorite lipstick and enact the whole song. You can also jump and run in place as if you are in the video and you'll burn some good calories. Tip  :  Keep your doors locked. 
5. Room therapy : I love a good smelling room so, go buy so candles or incense stick . Put on some fairy lights and read a good book.
6.       Organize your room : Though it might not always seem relaxing, I personally find it easier to relax or concentrate on things once the surrounding is prim and proper. Put one some happy music, sing along and try cleaning your room and work with the beat so, put on some fast paced songs and trust me it doesn't feel like work at all and you'll be so proud of yourself.

I bought this on the airport on my way back home for holidays. And I did read it, before 2015 ended so, I was working on my resolution even before 2016. *smirk* Nevermind. 
So, I could not resist myself when I saw this on the rack because it has been ages since I read one of works of "The King of Suspense" and I guess the person at the bookstore saw me drooling because he came up to me and tried convincing me for 5 minutes to buy this book. He didn't have to. I guess I went to the store two times. Okay. Here is the back cover text :



I don't know what you are thinking, but I kind of took it the wrong way. I'll leave it to you to imagine Mrs.Schmidt as the villain or the heroine. But, all in all the book was a good time killer. Also, I woke up till 5 in the morning to finish this off. But, it does have the typical touches of Sidney Sheldon's work so, if you are a devotee of that man, you may get close to guessing about what happens with whom. But! I love Sidney Sheldon and this was a nice read. And, is it just me? or is Sidney Sheldon a professional at creating dangerously sexy men? Just saying.

Happy New Year to the blogging world!

I already feel a bit pumped because 2+0+1+6= 9 ( which is a number that I love), so, hopefully, I'll have some good luck with all my dreams and wishes. So, the last year and a half has been quite of ride for me. I did have my good luck with college and stuff but about what I really want to do in life, I've been failing, I guess, but I've also been trying but whatever happened, I know I learned a lot. I now, know things which I could do to improve and also, things that I've been doing wrong. I have a lot of resolutions this year, I don't know how hard they'll be to keep up, but, I know my priorities now, and hopefully, I'll have the drive to work hard this time around.



1. Read more, staying hydrated, actually working on academics etc

So, basically love myself more. Last, year, I just didn't care about myself enough to keep up with all the gallons of water to drink, or read or give a damn about my deteriorating skin. I'm gonna do it this year around.

2. Get moving :

I promise to workout like the beast (almost!) I was when I was 17. Trust me, 18 was absolutely "Love Myself  Later" year and I promise to move even if it is a 15 minutes walk , EVERY SINGLE DAY.

3. Forgive myself and Forget the past :

Regrets are awful. Not because you did wrong but because they grab hold of you and don't let you get your game back on. I have regrets but I think I gave those bastards way more time than they deserved and they held me back. This year, I'll be more forgiving. 

4. Stay motivated :

One of the reasons I slacked was probably because I lost motivation. I know, the feeling when you are overwhelmed with motivation and it's pumping and you need a way to release it and so, I worked out and led the life I wished for. I remember thinking of the people I admire and my eyes getting watery because, WOW! I wanted to be there.


5. Really work on this blog :

I got a planner and I'll be more organized and actually work hard for this blog. ♥


6. Push myself and be optimistic :

I was so close, I slacked. Back to square one. But, instead of being hard on myself, I should've seen my capability and the possibility of me actually making my dreams come true. So, nothing you really want ever comes easy right? So, what's the fun if you succeed the first time around? So, I was just testing the water last time. this time, I am serious. (Me trying o be optimistic. Hahah! Still made me smile ;))


7. Let my soul live:

I have always adore yoginis and backpackers. So, this year, I'll try to meditate a little. Hahaha! But, I'm gonna try. Also, I've been trying to go vegan but failing like a hundredth time now, but i try it anyway. Something about veganism makes me feel so good. So right. But it's hard in college, when there is nothing and all the vegan things are actually very unhealthy. But, I'll try again I guess. ;)
